Olive Oil

Production Process

Olive oil is not just a product; it is the result of care, tradition, and expertise passed down through generations.

At Paradisos Olive Oil & Olives, every stage of production is designed to preserve the authenticity and purity of olive oil. From tree care to bottling, we follow natural methods and strict quality controls.

Our production process begins in our olive groves, where olives grow in an ideal environment for producing high-quality fruit.

Harvesting is done with care and respect for the tree, while the oil extraction process follows the cold pressing method, preserving all the valuable nutrients.

01

Care & Cultivation

The quality of olive oil starts with the health of the trees. That’s why we apply traditional and modern agricultural practices to ensure that our olives grow under optimal conditions.

  • Selected Varieties – We cultivate only varieties known for their rich aroma and low acidity.
  • Natural Fertilization – We use organic materials to maintain fertile and healthy soil.
  • Controlled Irrigation – Our trees receive just the right amount of water to preserve the flavor and quality of the fruit.
  • Hand Pruning – This helps the tree regenerate and produce the highest quality fruit.
02

Harvesting

Harvesting is a crucial stage in producing high-quality olive oil. At Paradisos Olive Oil & Olives, the process is carried out with great care at the perfect moment to preserve the superior quality of the fruit.

  • Hand Harvesting – Olives are picked one by one or gently combed to avoid bruising.
  • Use of Nets – Ensures that olives do not come into contact with the soil, keeping them clean.
  • Rapid Transport to the Mill – Within hours of harvesting to prevent oxidation and fruit deterioration.

Olive Oil Production

At the mill, olive oil is produced using the cold pressing method (below 27°C), preserving all its aromas, nutrients, and antioxidants.

  1. Cleaning & Washing – Olives are cleaned from leaves and dust.
  2. Grinding & Crushing – The fruit is crushed to release the precious olive oil.
  3. Cold Pressing – The oil is separated from solids and liquids without chemical or heat interventions.
  4. Separation & Filtration – Removes any residues, keeping the oil pure and clear.
04

Storage & Maturation

After production, the olive oil is not bottled immediately. It is left to rest in stainless steel tanks, under controlled temperatures, away from light and air, to preserve all its characteristics.

05

Bottling & Packaging

When the olive oil is ready, it is bottled in specially designed glass bottles and metal containers that protect it from light and oxygen. This ensures that every drop reaches your table as pure and authentic as the day it was produced.

Our commitment is to offer you extra virgin olive oil, rich in aroma and unique taste, reflecting the tradition and quality of Halkidiki.
